Jaunt Expands Leadership With Seasoned Digital Entertainment Exec Jean-Paul Colaco as Chief Revenue Officer

PALO ALTO, Calif. – February 7, 2017 – Jaunt Inc., the industry leader in cinematic virtual reality (VR), today announced that it has appointed Jean-Paul (JP) Colaco as Chief Revenue Officer. With an impressive arsenal of experience driving revenue for digital media companies, Colaco brings a wealth of experience that is directly applicable to this growing medium. Joining the company effective today, Colaco will be responsible for revenue generation across the company globally and will report directly to Jaunt President and CEO, George Kliavkoff.

Colaco previously served as Senior Vice President of Advertising at Hulu where he grew the company’s advertising business from zero to over $500 million in annual ad revenue. He also served as Senior Vice President of Advertising and Business Development at Vessel, a next-generation online video service that was acquired by Verizon in October 2016, where he was instrumental in the signing of over 200 content partners for the launch of the service and sold all advertising exclusively with Fortune 500 brands. Before Hulu, Colaco spent more than a decade in several roles at The Walt Disney Company, ultimately as Senior Vice President of Business Development. He has an MBA from Harvard.

News of Colaco’s hire comes on the heels of CFO Fabrice Cantou joining the team in January 2017, and just five months after Jaunt announced Kliavkoff would lead the company as CEO in September 2016. Under Kliavkoff’s leadership, Jaunt has announced:

  • and the addition of custom applications for Google Daydream and PlayStation VR making Jaunt the premiere VR content destination available on all major platforms.
