Nokia OZO camera

For a limited time we are making access to JCS available
under the following terms:

  • Low Resolution Preview Renders:
    • Users are able to upload an unlimited quantity of raw footage, and the resulting low resolution renders are FREE.
  • High Quality Final Renders:
    • Users get the first 2 UNITS of our High Quality rendered output for FREE.
    • After the first complimentary 2 UNITS, users can purchase UNITS of High Quality renders at $300 per UNIT (equivalent to 1 minute of 4K@59.94FPS render). UNITS must be purchased in advance of rendering.
  • Publishing:
    • Users are free to distribute their finished content on any platform. While we hope you distribute with Jaunt Publishing, there's no requirement to do so.
    • Significant discounts on future render time may be given to users who distribute content with Jaunt, provided the content is accepted for publication on the platform.
  • Additional Information:
    • We will store your raw and rendered footage for 3 months, free of charge. After that, storage fees apply
    • Our stitching and rendering algorithms are constantly improving. We will make best efforts to ensure that the image quality of the renders is consistent with the quality of the original 2 free UNITS of footage. However, we will not be responsible for issues stemming from poor production conditions or camera failure.

We’re thrilled to welcome you to try out Jaunt’s end-to-end cinematic VR production pipeline. As an early partner, we hope you will share with us any feedback on changes or additions that you feel could make the product better. We are constantly improving our tools and services and value your input.

How it Works

  1. Sign up for a Jaunt Cloud Services (JCS) Account (sign up form below)
You will need to use Nokia OZO Creator app to export
    • the eight MP4 camera videos
    • the processed (4.0) audio files.
  2. You can export all these files into a common folder. The folder will
contain the eight camera videos as MP4 movies, the audio file,
and a camera properties file (properties.txt). For this example,
let us assume you named that folder (containing all these files) "My_OZO_Export".
  3. From the Jaunt Cloud site (, use the 'Tools' icon in the upper right to download the Jaunt Media Manager. You will be using this app to Import, Organize, Lock, and Upload your OZO recording.
    Open Jaunt Media Manager.
    • The default Recordings directory is "Documents/Jaunt", and is shown in green text in the left sidebar of Media Manager. If you wish to use a different folder to organize your recordings, then select File -> Add Recordings Directory and choose a directory for your OZO footage. This new Recordings Directory will appear in the list in the left sidebar in Jaunt Media Manager. Set this directory and Directory -> Set Primary Directory’, or right-click on the directory you just added and click “Set Primary.” It will highlight in green once set.
    • Click “Import” in the sidebar.
    • Select File -> Add Import Directory and select the folder with your OZO footage (e.g., "My_OZO_Export" from above). There should be 8 video files, 1 audio file, and a properties.txt file. After selecting the folder, you should see progress that the folder is being Imported.
    • Click on the Recordings Directory, which is green in the left sidebar.
    • Select File -> Organize.
    • Click on the recording name and enter any missing file properties.
    • Click the “Install” button under the project name, and choose the option “Create and Install” in the dialog box that pops up.
  4. Before uploading, make sure your computer has a fast and wired internet connection, if possible. This will speed up the process of uploading data to the Jaunt Cloud.
  5. In Jaunt Media Manager, start the upload process by clicking the “Upload” button on the recording page.

You can also:

  • Preview your content in web, mobile or VR headset.
  • Perform any post production edits (optional).
  • Publish your content with Jaunt by submitting to Jaunt Publishing (optional).
