Jaunt Named One of Fast Company's "World's Most Innovative Companies 2016"

by Nicole Relyea -

One of the first things you hear from Jaunt employees when you ask them what it's like to work here is how exciting it is to be building a new technology. Many companies in Silicon Valley talk about being "innovative" or "disruptive," but when we show people cinematic VR, we're often showing them something they have literally never seen before.

It's an exciting day at Jaunt, as this idea that we are truly on the cutting edge has been affirmed and honored by industry icon Fast Company by including us in their list of the "World's 50 Most Innovative Companies 2016." One of the most significant and highly anticipated editorial efforts of the year, the magazines editors spend a full year gathering and analyzing data on companies around the globe. Fast Company editor Robert Safian says "this year's package - which includes top ten lists in e27 sectors - emphasizes the breadth of companies with progressive, agile business models, cultures of creativity, and ability to adapt in today's fast-paced world."

Today, we will celebrate our successes to date. But, as our CEO, Jens Christensen said: "we are eager to continue pressing ahead with establishing a set of best practices for VR content creation. The future has never been brighter for virtual reality, and we hope to continue playing a large role in its development."

Congratulations to everyone on the list; it's an honor to be included alongside such an impressive group of tech and business pioneers.
